Inspiration Can Be Found Everywhere

If you are willing to pause and look, you can find inspiration all around you. Last week with all the rain, varieties of mushrooms started to pop up all over our yard.  One grouping in particular caught my eye.  What is normally the underside of a mushroom was center stage and fabulous.

This trio was screaming to provide creative inspiration.  I used this image as the prompt for a Creative Exploration Play session.  If you want to give it a try, play with whatever supplies call you and see where it takes you.  You can create intricate patterns, keep it super simple, add leaves and stems, other designs, keep it black and white or add color.  There is no right or wrong way, the key is to have fun.

Warning, this is addictive in a great way.  Set a timer if you need so you can get lost without missing a meeting.  The Creative Explorer club members and I had a fun and relaxing time creating. Below is an example from our play session that is not yet complete.

Happy Creating,

Jen
