How many cards are in a deck?

One of the most common questions I receive for Card Deck Creation is "how many cards do I need to write?"

The answer is...it is 100% up to you!

A deck wants to be aligned to your business and what is best for your clients. This means you get to make the rules. The only kind of decks that require a specific number are Playing cards or Tarot cards.

I have created a deck of 3 cards to go in someone's care packages to customers.  I have created one's with 55, 44 and 15. A deck I recently did for a client has 36 cards. The possibilities are endless.

If this is something you desire to do, don't allow the number to hang you up.

When I work with clients, I help them sort that out and guide the process. I share what I think will be best for their deck and business.  This may include adding some cards, an instruction card, removing some cards, etc.  The point is, all that is figureoutable.  When you go to write, you edit later. Same idea applies here.

If this is something you have questions about, feel free to reach out to me at jen@jencolombo.com and we can also set up a chat if you need additional support.
